Bike Loan
Free loan of vintage Dutch bikes during your stay! There are miles of level countryside cycling right on your doorstep, explore the various cafes, pubs and vineyard by bicycle. The Somerset Levels with narrow country lanes in one direction make cycling very easy, and there’s no better way to discover the fantastic abundance of places to visit. N.B. The bikes are provided for daytime use, however, please bring your own lights and helmets if you so wish. The bikes are fully maintained and have puncture resistant tyres. Guests do however use them at their own risk.
Pétanque (Bocce) piste

Chris Monk Ballooning is a professional balloon company that is all about quality and personal service. Our flights are exclusive in that we only fly 2 or 3 people in our basket and we tailor the experience around you.
We fly from launch sites near Wells Cathedral and Glastonbury Tor. The flight is roughly one hour – allowing around 3 hours for the whole experience – and we serve a celebratory glass of fizz on landing.
