In the picturesque heart of Somerset, a tale of transformation unfolds. It all started in 2014 when Hannah and Christian, two souls deeply rooted in this enchanting region, embarked on a journey that would change their lives forever. Having met and grown up in and around Somerset, they had spent over a decade living amidst the hustle and bustle of London and Surrey. Their return to Somerset was nothing short of an ‘escape back to the country,’ a return to their roots.
The spark that ignited our holiday rental business was kindled by Hannah’s father, Trevor, who yearned for a well-deserved retirement from his previous career. Yet, it was Christian’s childhood memories of crafting treehouses that truly inspired our story. His passion to create structures that harmonised with the environment and seamlessly became part of it was the driving force behind our dream.
But this venture isn’t just a dream; it’s a shared family endeavour. It’s managed with love and care by a close-knit team, including Christian’s wife, Hannah, Trevor’s wife, Angela, and Hannah’s brother, Ben. Together, they pour their hearts into making your stay extraordinary.

Our accommodations are nestled in a private arboretum adorned with rare tree species, alongside a serene duck pond teeming with life. Surrounded by sprawling farmland, you’ll revel in uninterrupted views of nature’s majesty.
Situated in the historic hamlet of Fenny Castle, our site bears witness to the echoes of history. A Norman motte and Bailey castle hill stands just a few yards away, while in the opposite direction, the Fenny Castle vineyard beckons, a mere seven-minute stroll. A few more steps lead you to the nearest welcoming public house. The charming towns of Wells and Glastonbury are just a leisurely cycle ride or a short car journey away, offering rich experiences and unforgettable memories.
